VILLAGE IN A BOX V6

Summary: In a 2 week design charrette, fellow center intern Jordan Frazin and myself made a proposal for a new iteration in the VIB series, utilizing off the shelf cheap metal components (such as pipe, cable, and ratchets) and a handful of nuts and bolts that allow for a rapid prototype tent frame based on a tensegrity structure. The prototype we constructed was incredibly structurally stable, while staying very lightweight and easy to flat pack.
